Thanksgiving Meal Box Delivery
Here is a CTV News Barrie news clip about our Thanksgiving meal box delivery that took place on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Countryside United Church in Thornton, Ontario.
Food Insecurity
Without all of our donors and food suppliers, we wouldn't be able to provide this meal box delivery program to so many families in Barrie who're experiencing food insecurity. Food insecurity is becoming a crisis for families all across Canada right now and it's because the cost of food has become so high. Food Banks Canada has just launched a new communications campaign that calls for systemic change for tackling food insecurity, which they say has reached epidemic-levels. The struggle is real and our neighbors need our help.
